Mike Thompson is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Design at Goldsmiths, University of London.
His work employs making-led design methodologies to explore the intricacies of material participation, critically examining the real and imagined relations within human-nonhuman entanglements and promoting ecological perspectives.
Mike previously co-directed Thought Collider, an art/design studio that combined design prototyping and lab-based practices to interrogate emerging (bio)materials and technologies. Mike's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art (New York) and Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.
