Adela Glyn-Davies is Head of Warwick Design Studies and Associate Professor in Design and Global Sustainable Development.
Her work explores systemic imbalances through methodological and asset-based innovation, engaging more people in design for sustainable development. By integrating high-tech and emerging technologies with primitive and radical processes, she develops practice-led approaches to design complexity and sensemaking.
Focused on healthy, regenerative, and fair complex systems, her work seeks inclusive and sustainable methodologies for addressing global challenges through pluralistic design practice. This work is underpinned by data weaving through non-extractive ways of explicating and integrating overlooked data into design.
