Alice Holloway

Royal College of Art

Alice is Centre Manager of The Remakery Makerspace in Brixton, and a founder of the London Urban Textiles Commons.

Alice is an underwear designer and commons researcher exploring new models for producing enhanced fit in the context of a fashion commons for clothing provision.

Alice has been exploring sustainable fashion through bootstrap entrepreneurship since graduating Central Saint Martins in 2008.

Her experience spans designing for startups, running short-run production for established brands including Studio Pia and Coco De Mer, and in 2018 she was part of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership fashion cohort alongside Oxwash and Lone Design Club.

She studied design for the Cultural Commons MA in 2018/19 to expand her practice from startup business, to participatory design and co-design for clothing.
