Green Transition Ecosystems 2023

Professor Jo Patterson is Co-Director for Transforming Housing and Homes for Future Generations.

This is one of the four Green Transition Ecosystems, part of the Future Observatory: Design the Green Transition Programme, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (£4.6 million, AHRC, 2023-25).

Jo is an esteemed scholar at Cardiff University, she is a trailblazer in the field of the design, integration and uptake of energy systems in the built environment. Jo’s ground-breaking research and dedication to creating and maintaining a sustainable built environment for future generations have garnered international recognition and continue to inspire future generations within the construction and environmental sectors worldwide.
