Professor Flora Samuel is the Principal Investigator for The Public Map Platform.
This is one of the four Green Transition Ecosystems, part of the Future Observatory: Design the Green Transition Programme, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (£4 million, AHRC, 2023-25).
Flora is Head of the Department of Architecture at University of Cambridge and is renowned for her contributions to architecture and the built environment. Flora’s research in design for social justice and architectural history has shaped the discourse in these fields and her expertise continue to influence architectural thought and practice globally.
