Odina Keim is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the department of Fashion and Textiles at Winchester School of Art.
Odina is a Knitting specialist and has a 20 year career in Textile Design, with a specialist focus on digital knit, fabric construction and material research. She is a Shima seiki programming and machine expert and teaches on the undergraduate and postgraduate Textile Design programmes. She is a member of the E-Textiles Innovation Lab at The School of Art and contributes to the design and construction of knitted fabrics in wearable medical devices (stroke rehabilitation, pain relief, wound healing).
She works extensively with yarn and fibre and has presented work in Shanghai, New York, London and Paris and is working on zero waste manufacturing in bespoke knitted garment design.
