Dr Michael Pierre Johnson is an Innovation Leadership Fellow in the Creative Economy at the School of Innovation and Technology at the Glasgow School of Art.
His research centres on making the value of creative work and interdisciplinarity more explicit within collaborative contexts of regional, sectoral and sustainable development.
Michael combines sociological theory with relational modes of analysis through design-led visual mapping to support reflexive discourse on the strategic development of innovation ecosystems.
He delivered the Design Exchange Partnership, The Value of Nature-Based Enterprise (2022), and the Design Ecosystem Fellowship, A Co-Creative Climate (2023), through the Future Observatory.
