Lory Barile

University of Warwick

Dr. Lory Barile is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick and an applied behavioural and experimental economist.

Her current research explores how people-centred approaches and participatory methods shape policymaking, using behavioural insights to address societal challenges like climate action and sustainability. With extensive experience collaborating with local authorities and communities, her dedication to driving transformative change has been recognised with multiple awards.

Lory’s published work examines nudges and the impact of incentives on individual behaviour, fostering pro-environmental habits. Her research has been featured in leading interdisciplinary journals, including the Journal of Behavioural and Experimental Economics and Scientific Reports.
