Lilian Sanchez-Moreno is a design practitioner and researcher in sustainable design and circular economy at the Centre for Sustainable Design at the University for the Creative Arts.
She was awarded a PhD from the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Brighton where she explored the professionalisation of social design in discourse and practice from the mid-1970s to contemporary design.
Prior to completing her doctoral studies, Lilian worked as an industrial design and consultant. She has also lectured on design methods, studies, and design history, with a focus on the intersection between environmental design development, humanitarianism and social design.
