Julieta Perucca

The Shift

Julieta is the co-founder of The Shift.

Julieta brings over a decade of experience as a human rights advocate specializing in housing, with a strong focus on municipal implementation. She now works with municipalities in embedding policies to address the housing crisis through conversions and adaptive reuse, while leading groundbreaking work on climate change and housing for The Shift.

In her previous role as the Senior Aide to a UN Special Rapporteur, she conducted site visits across the world, as well as research, and policy analysis, advising national and local governments on human rights and housing. Julieta has a degree in European and International Law from Maastricht University and a degree in political science from the University of Ottawa.
