Dr. Joanna Boehnert is a Senior Lecturer in Design at Bath Spa University.
She is working on a three-year AHRC funded project called “Transition Templates: Pathways to Net Zero+” with Ben Reason at service design consultancy Livework. The first Transition Template project (TT1) develops a systemic design process for organisational transitions in five sectors of the UK economy.
Boehnert is the author of the monograph Design, Ecology, Politics: Towards the Ecocene (2018) and the more recent essay “Design Politics in the Anthropocene” (2023).
She is originally from Canada.
