Jacek has been working for the City of Warsaw for 18 years, the last 7 as Deputy Director of the Air Protection and Climate Policy Department. Among the most important tasks carried out by his team is Warsaw’s anti-smog program, which has resulted in the replacement of over 90% of solid-fuel boilers in Warsaw over the past few years and a significant improvement of air quality in Warsaw.

In addition, he oversaw the development of Warsaw’s climate strategy—the Warsaw Green City and Climate Action Plan (2023). He is also working on one of the key climate projects—the Warsaw Green Building Standard.

Currently, he is focusing on coordinating thermo-modernization work on municipal buildings in Warsaw.
