Imandeep Kaur (She/Her) is Co-founder and Director of CIVIC SQUARE
Based in Birmingham, CIVIC SQUARE is an organisation demonstrating neighbourhood-scale civic infrastructure for social and ecological transition. Together with people and partners in Ladywood, Birmingham, UK, CIVIC SQUARE is reimagining land stewardship, finance and governance with a particular focus on ecological building design and bio-based material retrofit.
Imandeep is an active member of Project 00, a collaborative studio based in London that specialises in sustainable design and regeneration; part of the Doughnut Economics Action Lab Advisory Team and on the Common Wealth Advisory Board.
Immy Kaur is a speaker at Building Resilience: Demonstrators for a Changing Climate (25 June 2026, Design Museum, London), participating in a panel on community-led retrofit.
Civic Square participated as a Policy Fellow in 2023 in the Cultural Policy Fellowships programme, researching Building neighbourhoods of the future.
