Dr Carolina Vasilikou is a lecturer in Architecture and member of the Urban Living Research Group in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Reading.
Carolina’s research focuses on people-centred design, building awareness on transparent multi-sensory participation processes, inclusive and diverse. She has organised and led several active workshops, supervising social value and community empowerment PhD projects and is interested in the development of innovative research methodologies for participatory processes at urban and building scales, based on empathetic and inclusive ways. She lived in Kent for eleven years before moving to London and has worked on research projects about Margate in 2016.
